I would take the API 2500 and Smart C2 over it, in that order. I have not heard the Dramastic, but from what I've heard, it would be chosen in front of the 1968 as well. I bought the 1968 for budget reasons, and I like it and think it is a great value.

Web10 set 2010 · The Obsidian works really well on my 2 buss and I've used it for vox and drum buss as well. It gets a nice, fat sound. Extremely easy to dial in on the buss. Almost feels like it dials itself in if you listen to it.
